when my mother was five. She returned to Holland as a teenager in 1946.
Writings from my grandmothers account of the hasty retreat from the invading Japanese. They supported each other during those years in the women and children's internment camps.
My grandfather was interned in Kawasaki, Japan amongst other places and once free returned to search all the camps in Indonesia for my mother and grandmother....he found them.
